Find Your People (It Gets Better) was premiered on 1 June 2025 by a 450-strong chorus at Teatro Manzoni in Bologna, Italy. The chorus was drawn from 13 choirs from across Italy.

The piece was written especially for the competition about the experience of finding the people who make you feel like life is worth living!

In announcing the competition winner, the jury said:

”The piece stands out for its engaging musicality and catchy melody, which, despite its simplicity, enhances the harmony and vocal arrangement. The evocative and direct lyrics perfectly reflect the theme of “building community,” powerfully conveying a sense of unity and solidarity. The choral performability is excellent, with a well-balanced harmonic blend and a seamless connection between melody and words. A truly effective piece for strengthening the sense of community”.

Find Your People will be published in SATB, SSAA and TTBB formats in early 2026.
